The "prime" part of Fallbrook is about 40 square miles, between I-15 and Camp Pendleton (east to west) and south from the Santa Margarita River to Bonsall.

The northern boundary of (zip code 92003) Bonsall is directly south of Fallbrook, and straddles Highway 76 and the San Luis River. The other boundaries are generally at I-15 (east), at Vista (south), and at Oceanside (west).

The areas north of the Santa Margarita River extend all the way north to the Riverside County line. The De Luz properties are generally 5 to 10 miles north of Fallbrook's Mission Road, and the other areas are up to 5 miles north.

Rainbow Glen is actually west of I-15, but is entered from Rainbow (east of I-15).
